| Description: | Florance explains how to make nuba' laya' (lit. soft rice). This is the traditional Kelabit way of preparing and serving rice by boiling, mashing and then wrapping the rice in leaves (da'un isip). Nuba' laya' could be taken to the farms or on long journeys. Today, it is served during meals and also at feasts (irau). The following equipment was used: Zoom H4N, lavallier mic, wind gag, Canon EOS 60D, Canon EF 28mm f/1.8 USM Lens.
