| Description: | David Lakon tells the story of the Swamphen (possibly?) and the Chicken. They were friends and they decided to decorate each other. The Swamp-hen dressed the chicken up well but the chicken dressed the swamp-hen up plainly. The chicken was proud of his outfit and struts around the village, but the swamp-hen is ashamed and hides in the bush. Linguistically this is interesting as it is in the Ngeye dialect spoken in the north east.
