Kas Futialo (also known as Tha Feelstyle) is the primary performer across all 13 audio files. He was born on the Samoan island of Upolu in the 1980s and moved to Wellington, New Zealand at age nine. He is a pioneering New Zealand–Samoan hip hop artist who raps primarily in the Samoan language. The album won Best Pacific Music Album at the 2012 New Zealand Music Awards and was nominated for three additional awards at the 2012 Pacific Music Awards. The album was produced by Victor Keil and composed/written by Kas Futialo (stage name: Tha Feelstyle).
