Description:		Translation (Nbanpa Rita Seng Mai & Keita Kurabe) This is a story about a spirit's promise that truly came to pass. Long ago, there was a man. One day, when he entered the forest, he encountered a spirit woman. The woman invited the man to her house, and at night, she served him a meal. But the food she served was nothing but caterpillars, so the man did not eat. Then, the spirit woman offered him water. The man did not notice the needle in the cup, and swallowed it along with the water. When he swallowed the needle, he clearly realized that the woman was a spirit. He told her, "I'm going home." At that moment, the woman said to him, "Don't tell anyone that I'm a spirit." The man replied, "I understand," and hurried home. After returning to his home village, he lived as if nothing had happened, and by the time his children had grown up, one day, he completely forgot the promise with the spirit and accidentally told his children about meeting her. Then, the needle he had swallowed long ago came out and pierced his throat, and he collapsed and died on the spot.
