Description:Translation (Rita Seng Mai) I will tell you about four kinds of Manau Festivals based on what I have heard before. When we go to the battlefield, we hold the Manau before going to war. That is called the Padang Manau. Our elders told us about it, and I have seen the Padang Manau celebration with my own eyes. We celebrate that Manau once every three years. It is called the Sut Manau. When people got sick or got into trouble, we used to perform divination to find out the cause. We did this during the time of animism. We needed to look at what happened between humans and the nat spirits. Then we perform the Manau. It is called the Ju Manau. When we move to another place, when our children get married, or when they start their own families, we celebrate the Kumran Manau. I have learned about these types of Manau.
