Description:Translation (Rita Seng Mai) This is about the mice's meeting (chat). One day, mice held a meeting. The king of mice called a meeting for all the mice because the cat was catching many of them, and many were dying. He said, "We should think of a way not to get eaten by the cat. What should we do? Let's find a solution. The number of mice is getting smaller and smaller. We must do something." One of the elder mice said, "It's impossible for us to kill the cat. Let's do it like this: we will hang a bell on his body while he is sleeping. We can run away when we hear the bell ringing. We can escape. Let's hang the bell on his body while he is sleeping." Then, in their meeting, they decided to secretly hang the bell on the cat's body while he was sleeping. The king asked them, "Who will hang the bell on the cat's neck while he is sleeping?" However, no mouse dared to do that. The king said to one mouse, "You do it." And he said to another one, "You hang the bell on the cat's neck!" But no one dared to do it. A lot of mice were attending the meeting, but no one dared to do the task. They also didn't know what to do. They were facing the crisis of their own species dying out. The meeting was not productive. The cat caught mice every day. One or two mice were eaten each day. Just like the mice's meeting, we also had an unproductive meeting like that. We kept discussing what to do in our meeting, but there was really no one who would actually complete the tasks. We also say that it's like the mice's meeting (chat). We also act like the mice. We keep chatting in meetings, saying exaggerated things, but when it's time to carry them out, there is no one. In our revolutionary journey, we say that we need independence and our own country, and that we must stand against the Burmese. However, no one really stands firmly against them in reality. We don't dare to serve in the army. We humans, have often been like mice. We usually remind each other by saying, "It's like the mice's chat." This is the end of the story. Thank you.
