Description:Translation (Rita Seng Mai) The title of the story is 'A Group of Brothers and Pig Manuer.' I will tell you about an event that happened in our Jinghpaw community. Once upon a time, there was a group of brothers and an orphan boy in a town. The orphan boy didn't have any parents. He lived with his grandmother and relatives. The group of brothers still had both parents and had many male siblings. In that town, there was an orphan boy and a group of brothers. The boys made the orphan boy work for them and bullied him, but they did not share any food with him. They always treated the boy badly. One day, they said to the orphan boy, "Let's go into the forest and hunt some animals. There are many boars. Let's go hunt them." The orphan boy said, "Okay. Let's go." And he went there with them. They could catch a boar successfully. The boys took all the meat and said to the orphan boy, "You can take these intestines. You live with only your grandmother, so they will be enough for you. We have many people at home, so we'll take the meat." Then they went back home with all the meat. The orphan boy was upset and cried. He took the intestines and went to the river to clean them. He was rinsing them and squeezing the manure out, but gold came out instead of manure. He took all the gold and went back home. When he arrived home, he told his grandmother, "Grandma, I found gold inside the pork intestines while I was cleaning them." They were really happy. They sold the gold and became very wealthy in the town. If the boys had not bullied the orphan boy and had shared the meat equally, they could have gotten gold too. This is the end of the story.
