| Description: | Translation (Rita Seng Mai) The story is about a busy, unhappy rich man and a happy poor man. Once upon a time, there was a rich man and a poor man in a village. The rich man owned cows, buffaloes, pigs, and chickens. He had to feed them every day. He was so busy that he had no time to rest. Since he was wealthy, he worried about his money being stolen, so he couldn't sleep well at night. He was exhausted day after day. He didn't want to ask his friends for help because he didn't want to share the profits with them. As a result, he suffered and became exhausted. On the other hand, the poor man didn't work and just relaxed all day. When he was hungry, he did some work. After he had enough money for dinner, he stopped working and relaxed again. He could sleep well at night because he didn't need to worry about his money being stolen. In the morning, he worked just enough to earn money for that day's food. Then he relaxed again without working. He was living his life without worries. Then the rich man thought, "No matter how rich I am, I am always exhausted and can't even sleep well at night. But that poor man is living his life happily. I should hire people work for me. I will share my profits with others. I am so tired now. I should live a happy life." He looked at the life of the poor man and learned a valuable lesson. He reduced his workload and began living happily. This is why people say, "The richer you are, the more tired you become. The poorer you are, the happier you can be, but you may remain stuck in the cycle of poverty."
