| Description: | Translation (Rita Seng Mai) Dogs can see at night. A long time ago, the Creator called the humans to bless them with wisdom. The humans also invited the deities and nature spirits to go to the Creator together. God said, "Listen, everyone." He asked the humans first, "What do you use to see things at night? What do you use to see?" They answered, "With eyes." God asked the dogs, "What about you? What do you use to see things at night?" They answered, "With our anuses." Then God said to them, "Very well. Humans will use their eyes to see at night, and dogs will use their anuses to see at night. It will always be the same forever." The devil didn't like what God said and tried to destroy it. He blinded humans' vision at night, so they couldn't see at night anymore. Since the dogs said they used their anuses, the devil closed their anuses. Humans can't see at night, but dogs can see everything at night. Dogs can see even nat spirits and tigers. Dogs can see when tigers approach at night in the forest, so they bark loudly. Humans were not clever enough and told everything honestly, so they lost their vision at night and could see only during the day. Transcription (La Ring) Gwi ni gaw shana myi mu ai da.
