| Description: | Earlier, the 'daw' (knife) was with 'mainak' (Monkey). One day man decided to take it from the Monkey and devised a trick. He convinced Monkey to sit on the banyan tree. Man cut the stem flat where Monkey would be seated and he himself sat on a branch which wasn't cut. After hours of sitting there, man took the daw and ran away. Monkey asked to give back the daw and tried to chase the man, but Monkey's buttocks were stuck to the sticky gum of the banyan tree which didn’t allow him to move easily. Till today, Monkey’s buttock has no hair. Another version of this story is 18ManwangWangsuDawfromMonkey.. Language as given: | |
