| Description: | This is a story about two men who go to Cochabamba to sell some stuff. In the jungle, they find a beehive with honey hanging in a tree. They decide to take it with them when they return. After selling their stuff, they return to the place of the beehive. They both climb up the almond tree where it is located, one as a squirrel, one as a coati. They cut the beehive loose. The squirrel jumps back down first. The coati has to take the beehive with him, so he jumps down and breaks his leg at the impact. His friend the squirrel heals him by blowing on him. This is why the Yurakaré know how to find honey now. | |
| Un cuento sobre dos hombres que van a Cochabamba para vender cosas. En el monte encuentran una colmena con miel. Deciden que lo van a sacar y llevar a la vuelta. Cuando vuelven, quieren subir al almendrillo donde se encuentra la colmena. Un hombre sube como ardilla, el otro como tejón. Cortan la colmena para llevarla. Baja primero la ardilla. El tejón tiene que llevar la colmena al bajar, y por eso se fractura su pierna. Su amigo la ardilla le sopla y se cura. Por eso, los Yurakaré ya saben encontrar y comer miel ahora. | ||
