| Description: | A poor boy meets a (female) parrot who is the daughter of twelve magicians. When the magicians come back from their journey, they prove whether the boy can read but he pretends to be illiterate. He is then adopted and left alone with the parrot while the magicians make several longer journeys. He reads all their books including the magic book and learns their witchcraft. He escapes with the parrot and is haunted by the magicians but he manages to escape each time by transforming himself. In the end the magicians give up and the boy marries a princess. | |
| Un joven pobre encuentra una lora que es la hija de doce mágicos. Cuando ellos regresan de su viaje, prueban si el joven sabe leer, pero él pretende ser analfabetico. Le adoptan y le dejan solo con la lora mientras hacen varios viajes. El joven se pone a leer todos sus libros inclueyendo el libro de la magia de lo que aprende a hechizar. Entonces se escapa con la lora y es perseguido por los mágicos pero convertiendose les puede escapar cada vez. Al final los mágicos renunican y el joven se casa con una princesa. | ||
