When he is up on the tower ringing the bells people come by and get angry with him, taking him for a villain. They look for their arms and finally just shoot him down. Then a season of rains starts and the village nearly drowns in the water. The people realize and regret their sin and start praying on their knees, holding a picture of the wholy virgin in their hands. After four years the water goes away and on Easter Week God comes back. The second part of the story the speaker tells a short story of an old ill neighbour she took care of. | |
| Duración: 00:19:47 La parlante sigue con su narración sobre su encuentro con Dios. Ella describe como Dios se iba a la iglesia del pueblo para tocar las campanas. Cuando el estaba arriba en el torre (de la iglesia) tocando las campanas, la gente se enojó con el pensando que el es algún malvado. La gente buscó sus armas y al fin le dispararon. Entonces empezó una temporada de lluvia y el pueblo casi se hundió. La gente se dió cuenta y se arrepentio por su pecado y se arodilló para rezar, teniendo la imagén de la Santa Virgén en la mano. Después de cuatro años el agua se fue y en la Semana Santa Dios volvió. En la segunda parte del relato la parlante cuenta un relato sobre un vecino viejo del cuál ella se ocupó. | ||
