Description:		This is a video recording of speakers of Ikpána describing the names and usages of plants growing in the Logba Traditional Area. Togbe Shamoa III, Mawuli Kormla Kahia, Daniel Kofi Agana, Elizabeth Yawa Anansah, and Kudzo Yeboah each show several plants growing in the area and describe their names and usages. The recordings were made on 18 November, 2009 in the area around Logba Klikpo, Ghana using a Sony DCR-HC96 video camera with miniDV tapes. Kudzo Yeboah was recorded along the road from Logba Klikpo to Logba Alakpeti. In addition to sharing his knowledge of plants, Mawuli Kormla Kahia interpreted and acted as research assistant, while Lydia Green made the recordings and acted as primary investigator. The recordings are in the Ikpána language and show each speaker standing next to the plant as it is being described. The recording of Kudzo continues on Tape 4.
