| Description: | This is a tale about TCR's father's uncle, Pablo Cavero. In the past there was a law that allowed the authorities to execute murderers and thieves. One time, some crimes occurred and Pablo was accused. No one knows how, but he escaped from the jail during the night and fled to Sola de Vega. There he found work in the store of a man named El Negro, who had a pact with the devil. One day El Negro made Pablo go with him by car into the mountains where his demon master dwelled. Pablo waited in the car, and after nightfall he saw a bull approach the car and begin dancing. The bull turned into a big dancing turkey. Other dancing animals appeared and kept him awake all night, terrified and praying in the car. At dawn, when the animals left he took off and walked back to Sola, where he found El Negro in the store. Later in life, Pablo became a teacher in San Pedro del Río. Audio duration [00:05:38] | |
