Description: | This is a tale of a jealous mother who tries to poison her son because he decides to go and try to win a rich person's daughter for a bride. She poisons the food he takes on the journey. His burra, female donkey, gets exhausted, and he feeds her some of his tacos . The donkey dies, and then three vultures come to eat the donkey. They die too. When the young man arrives at the rich person's house, the rich man asks for a riddle or prophecy. The traveler thinks of what happened on the journey and says 'el pan mató a la tabla y la tabla mató a tres'. The rich man can not solve the riddle, so the traveler wins the prize and he gets a rich wife.Audio duration [00:08:08] | |
