Description:		In this hour long video that is transcribed and translated into Spanish, Moipa Nihua his wife, Ana Gaba and her brother, Ramón Uboye Gaba spend the afternoon in Moipa and Ana's house dicussing daily concerns and recent events in the community.
		En este video de una hora de duración que se transcribe y traduce al español, Moipa Nihua, su esposa, Ana Gaba y su hermano, Ramón Uboye Gaba, pasan la tarde en la casa de Moipa y Ana discutiendo las preocupaciones diarias y los eventos recientes en la comunidad.
		En 2011, comenzó el proyecto de colaboración Waorani, que involucró al investigador Casey High, de Goldsmiths University of London, al investigador norteamericano Connie Dickinson, y los jóvenes Waorani, Ramón Uboye Gaba, Inés Nemo Nenquimo, Meri Nenquihui y Oswando Opi Nenquimo como documentalistas nativos. El objetivo principal del proyecto es registrar prácticas culturales que cubren una amplia gama de temas y contextos, desde rituales e historias tradicionales hasta conversaciones de la vida cotidiana. El proyecto también tiene como objetivo producir una base de datos que incluya un léxico. El proyecto recibió fondos del Hans Rausing Endangered Language Fund, SOAS, Londres, durante tres años.
		In 2011, the collaborative project Waorani started, involving the researcher Casey High, from Goldsmiths University of London, the north American researcher Connie Dickinson, and the young Waorani, Ramón Uboye Gaba, Inés Nemo Nenquimo, Meri Nenquihui y Oswando Opi Nenquimo as native documentalists. The main objective of the project is to register cultural practices that cover a broad range of topics and contexts, from rituals and traditional stories to daily life conversations. The project also aims at producing a database including a lexicon. The project received funding from the Hans Rausing Endangered Language Fund, SOAS, London, for three years.
		Wao Terero is an unclassified language spoken by some 2,800 Waorani who live in the western Amazon area in the provinces of Pastaza, Napo and Orellana in Ecuador. Spanish is the national language of Ecuador. //// Wao terero es un idioma sin clasificación hablado por algunos 2,800 Waorani en la area de Amazonia occidental en las provincias de Pastaza, Napo y Orellana de Ecuador.
		Ana Gaba is the daughter of Amoa Gaba and Nay Caiga. She is married to Moipa Nihua and has four children. She grew up in Toñampare but now lives in Yawepare. She is fluent and literate in both Wao Terero and Spanish. She has held several important roles as a community leader and has a deep knowledge of her own culture and language.
		Ana Gaba es la hija de Amoa Gaba y Nay Caiga. Está casada con Moipa Nihua y tiene cuatro hijos. Ella creció en Toñampare pero ahora vive en Yawepare. Ella es fluida y alfabetizada tanto en wao terero como en español. Ha desempeñado varios papeles importantes como líder de la comunidad y tiene un profundo conocimiento de su propia cultura y lenguaje.
		Uboye Gaba nació en la comunidad Wao Toñampari. Sus padres son Amo Gaba y Ñai Caiga. Tiene su bachillerato en contabilidad. Su pareja es Marci y tiene dos hijas. Él es fotógrafo y sabe grabar videos, hacer documentales y otros, además experto en transcripción y traducción y sabe manejar varios programas lingüísticos necesarios para un proyecto de documentación. Wao terero es su idioma materno pero también habla español y es alfabetizado en ambos idiomas.
		Uboye Gaba was born in the Wao community of Toñampari. His parents are Amo Gaba and Ñai Caiga. His partner is Marci and they have two daughters. He has a high school degree with a specialization in accounting. He is a photagrapher and is also knowledgeable in video recording, documentation and is an expert in transcription and translation as well as in the various linguistic programs necessary for documentation. Wao Terero is his maternal language but he also speaks Spanish and is literate in both languages.
		Wanogi Nihua nació en Shell, pero actualmente vive en Yawepare. Él es el hijo de Ana Gaba y Nihua Moipa y el hermano de Kireya y Nihua Wita. Él es un estudiante de primaria en la escuela fiscal Omateña. Waorani es su lengua materna, sino que también habla español.
		Wanogi Nihua was born in Shell, but currently lives in Yawepare. He is the son of Ana Gaba and Moipa Nihua and the brother of Kireya and Wita Nihua. He is an elementary student at the Fiscal Omateña school. Waorani is his native language but he also speaks Spanish.
