| Description: | Esta sesión es el último video de la colección, y el último diálogo registrado en el trabajo de campo. Está hecho en el auto, de regreso de Puerto Natales, en la ruta, de noche donde viajábamos Dora Manchado, Nicolas Duval y Javier Domingo. La sesión está pensanda como una conclusión, donde repasamos junto a Dora todos los temas que nos había enseñado en “todos estos meses” y le agrademos por su paciencia, su cariño y su trabajo. A pesar de haber estado grabando durante todo el día, Dora no se nota cansada. Al contrario, traduce en lengua prácticamente de corrido y con gusto. En algún momento paramos en la ruta a buscar una bandeja de comida para la perra de Dora, que habíamos dejado escondida bajo unas piedras. En la conversación final, le preguntamos acerca de sus ideas sobre la propiedad de la lengua, y sobre sus propios deseos acerca de su uso futuro. Este diálogo, profundamente sentimental, es el último grabado en esta lengua. This session is the last video of the collection, and the last dialogue recorded during the fieldwork. It's done in the car, back from Puerto Natales, on the road, at night when we drove Dora Manchado, Nicolas Duval and Javier Domingo. The session is thought as a conclusion, where we reviewed with Dora all the topics that he had taught us during "all these months" and we thank her for her patience, her love, and her work. Despite having been recording all day, Dora does not feel tired. On the contrary, she translates almost simultaneously. At some point, we stopped on the route to find a tray of food for Dora's dog, which we had left hidden under some rocks. In the final conversation, we ask her about her ideas about the property of the language, and about her own desires for her language in the future. This dialogue, deeply sentimental, is the last one ever recorded in this language. | |
