Documentation and description of Vamale, an endangered language of New Caledonia

Description:Jimmy shares his memories about everyday life, back in the day. There would always be someone at home, taking care of firewood, cleaning up, hunters would share their meat and so on. Helping each other was a normal, expected thing, that was more prevalent back then. He says Vamale was spoken in Wanaa and Pije in We Hava.
Jimmy Ceu is the chief of We Hava, but lives in Maïna. He is the successor of Kaina, less respected, and suffers from it. He never asked to be chief, but his clan is the traditional owner of the chieftaincy and thus put him in charge.
