| Description: | Oni Peai tells the story of Dugeri. Her father, Peai Gidra, is sitting next to her. In the story Dugeri wants to get married and have a son. He tells his mother about this not knowing that his mother has already chosen a wife for him. The mother is hiding the wife. Dugeri decides to visit the people who live on the clouds. While climbing up he was chewing sugercane. He drops the chewed rests of the sugarcane, and his wife picks them up. The wife ate those sugarcane fibres and became pregnant. She gave birth to a boy and name him after his father Dugeri. Meanwhile Dugeri talks to Brekeri in the clouds. Brekeri gives him his sister TondeTonde (means: lighting) as a wife. They have many children together. One TondeTonde complains saying that the cloud people do not have plenty children, only humans have plenty children. Dugeri feels ashamed and leaves the cloud people. On his way down, he hears his name being called out. He realises that he has a wife and a son.
