Description:		This fairy tale was recorded by Elena Kalinina from Anna Porfir’evna Nadeina in August 2008. A first transcription was made in ELAN by Brigitte Pakendorf in 2018. In July 2018, Natalia Aralova checked the transcription with Antonina V. Kazarova who also provided the translation. NA glossed the text and checked the questions with Antonina V. Kazarova and Galina I. Kandakova. This is a fairy tale in which the author asks different characters (tree, mountain, wind, rain and many more) if they are strong. It turns out that even though they are all strong, for every character there is something even stronger. APN mentions that she does not remember all of it, although she heard her grandfather tell it till the end. // Эта сказка записана Еленой Калининой от Анны Порфирьевны Надеиной в августе 2008 года. В сказке автор спрашивает разных героев (дерево, гору, ветер, дождь и многих других), сильные ли они. Оказывается, что хотя они и сильные, для каждого находится что-то, что еще сильнее. Анна Порфирьевна отмечает, что она не помнит эту сказку целиком, но она слышала ее от своего дедушки до конца.
		This project focuses on the documentation of Negidal, a highly moribund Northern Tungusic language spoken by at most a handful of individuals on the Amgun’ and Lower Amur rivers in the Russian Federation. The language comprises two dialects, Upper and Lower Negidal, of which the latter might already be extinct. The project will result primarily in an extensive corpus of interlinearized texts from the Upper dialect together with accompanying audio recordings.
		Anna P. Nadeina was born in October 1916. Her father was a Negidal, her mother, who died when she was six, a Nanai. She has only minimal education ("likbez", literacy school), and worked in the village bakery, as a cleaner in the school, and in the kindergarten laundry.She is the mother of Daria and Tamara Nadeina, Galina Kandakova, and Ljubov' Oxlopkova.
