Description:		This video shows a Nankanpyin village scene and the arrival of the shaman and two language consultants in October 2011. Shaman and language consultants’ arrival in Natkanpyin village where they are updated about the rest of the shamans who had passed away during the ten years since the first meeting was held in Zin Yaw Maw village in 2002. There was a discussion about how different ritual performances should be done and the differences among them. During this initial meeting, the husband of an ill woman came to invite the Shaman to conduct a ritual performance for his wife. They discussed how many earthen jars of traditional rice fermented beer and pigs would be required to conduct the performances so that the host could prepare in advance. They talked about logistic issues in which the shaman said he had to return to his own village before he could begin conducting this performance. Three language consultants explained who they are and what they do.
