| Description: | This is a different version of the little poem about a bird which focusses on sound repetition (see session "Poem about a bird 1"). It was produced spontaneously by Daria Nadeina during a session to clarify questions and was simply cut out of the working session audiofile. Recorded with a Marantz PMD660 solid state recorder and an AKG 1000 S microphone, in mono, by Brigitte Pakendorf, and transcribed and glossed by her. Transcription checked and questions clarified with Daria Nadeina, who also provided the Russian translation. // Дарья Ивановна Надеина читает короткий стих про птичку с повторением начальных слогов и со звукоподражательными выражениями. | This project focuses on the documentation of Negidal, a highly moribund Northern Tungusic language spoken by at most a handful of individuals on the Amgun’ and Lower Amur rivers in the Russian Federation. The language comprises two dialects, Upper and Lower Negidal, of which the latter might already be extinct. The project will result primarily in an extensive corpus of interlinearized texts from the Upper dialect together with accompanying audio recordings. | ||
