| Description: | The recording was made by Elena Kalinina in 2008. Brigitte Pakendorf transcribed and analyzed it in 2017 with the help of Daria Nadeina, who provided the Russian translation, and Ljubov' Oxlopkova. Daria Nadeina tells a story about cooking a duck during the berry picking season. The cauldron fell and the duck soup was spilled out. Then they cooked another little bird (a wader) together with the duck. They were ten people. When they sat down to eat in the evening, everybody claimed to be eating a duck leg, the best part. // Эта запись была сделана Е. Ю. Калининой в 2008 году. Дарья Ивановна Надеина рассказывает историю о том, как они готовили утку в одну из поездок за ягодами. Кастрюля упала с тагана, и весь бульон и утка упали на землю. | This project focuses on the documentation of Negidal, a highly moribund Northern Tungusic language spoken by at most a handful of individuals on the Amgun' and Lower Amur rivers in the Russian Federation. The language comprises two dialects, Upper and Lower Negidal, of which the latter might already be extinct. The project will result primarily in an extensive corpus of interlinearized texts from the Upper dialect together with accompanying audio recordings. | ||
| Worked in the kindergarten as teacher and director, worked as a schoolteacher, in a shop, and also in the village administration. Is very active in maintaining Negidal culture and the language. | ||
