| Description: | In this video recording, elders from Ayede came together to tell stories and riddles in Ikaan during an evening with a full-moon. In between the stories, people are laughing and chatting. Some stories also have songs, which are often in Yoruba. As you can see in the video, the people were sitting on three benches in a circle, with the camera and the microphone facing them. Out of sight of the camera, children gathered around to listen to the stories. There was no electricity during the recording but we used a small LED lamp to give some light. | |
