Description:		On the same day of jeju0118, in the evening SUK1 visited HJG1 who had prepared two songs for SUK1 to record. HJG1's uncle, Heo Chang-Su, was a well-known figure when it comes to local Jejuan songs, and he was especially known for his song on fishing for Larhead hairtails and another on cutting wood, which all entered into the big indigenous song collection carried out by the Munhwa Broadcasting Company in 1989. Being a passionate farily well-known local singer himself, HJG1 wanted to present his cover version of his uncle's songs. Thus jeju0119-01 is a recording of a song called kalt͡ɕʰi nak͈ɨnɨn sʰoli, which is a work song that people used to sing while fishing for Largehead hairtails (Trichiurus lepturus). jeju0119-02 is just another test recording, which is why it has not been included in the present corpus. jeju0119-03 is a recording of naŋpenɨn sʰoli, which is a work song that people used to sing while cutting wood in the forest. jeju0119-04 is an explanation of when you would sing the wood-cutting song, and how that relates to the needs of everyday life. This recording was interrupted by HJG1 responding to a phone call. jeju0119-05/jeju0119-06 resumes the conversation from jeju0119-04, and HJG1 explains how he used to go into the forest with a relative in the middle of night to get wood, and how it would take the whole next day. It is interesting to note that due to the explanatory nature of his talk and register influence in addition to the presence of a younger person (that is, SUK1 the researcher), he constantly switches back and forth Jejuan and Korean, quite unlike casual conversations with people of his own age and provenance or older. jeju0119-01 is a recording of a song called kalt͡ɕʰi nak͈ɨnɨn sʰoli, which is a work song that people used to sing while fishing for Largehead hairtails (Trichiurus lepturus). jeju0119-02 is just another test recording, as I realised that during jeju0119-01, there was one reciting bit towards the end that was quite a lot louder, and I wanted to manually adjust levels after that. I might actually not include it in the deposit, since there is no need for that. jeju0119-03 is a recording of naŋpenɨn sʰoli, which is a work song that people used to sing while cutting wood. jeju0119-04 is an explanation of when you would sing the wood-cutting song, and how that relates to the needs of everyday life. This recording was interrupted by HJG1 responding to a phone call. jeju0119-05/jeju0119-06 resumes the conversation from jeju0119-04, and HJG1 explains how he used to go into the forest with a relative in the middle of night to get wood. 		This project aims at building an annotated audio-video corpus of spoken Jejuan with a focus on conversational genres, supplementing existing documentation of narratives and songs.
		Father of two, a daughter almost in her 40s, and a son. He and his relatives do different sorts of farming, which is beans, peppers and tangerines. He and his wife often help out at relative's farm, and he seems to be well-known in the village as a good talker, musician and good-hearted person. Can read and write Chinese characters, and is literate in Korean writing. Great knowledge and memory of words and expressions that he does not use anymore. Exceptional ability to create stories from stimuli, and expressing humour in language. He has great knowledge of Jejuan sayings, and knows folk songs as well.
		Main researcher of current documentation project, as of 2016, PhD student in Linguistics at SOAS London. German-Korean descent, got to London after his BA studies.
