Apriandi is 29 years old and Rusnan is a 45 year old man. Both speakers are fishermen who have their own boats. Apriandi was born and raised in Pondok Prasi and married to a woman from West Lombok. He finsihed middle school and spent three months in Kalimantan. Rusnan was born in Kampung Melayu, a neighboring village, married to a woman from east Lombok. He moved to Pondok Prasi in 1983. He finished elementary school and works as a labor. He worked in Malaysia for two years.The conversatiom revolves around Rusnan sharing his experience on fishing in different parts of the island including a small island called Gili Air with Lombok as the maindland.
