Description:This is a long recording. Ken gives a a verb paradigm “be/stay” (fairly complete, three tenses), then he gives a paradigm of possessive pronouns and then a partial paradigm of “fight” (past and present, 3rd sg subject, different objects). Then he explains again the pronunciation difference in the minimal pair “stone”/”pain” (both close to “ti”). Two short videos of Ken pronouncing the two words are included in the item. Then Ken gives a “come” paradigm (three tenses, fairly complete) and a partial “put” paradigm. Ken also gives some pronunciations that he says are used in the dialect of Mafour..
