| Format: | Digitised: yes Media: EMI HLP9 RtoR Audio Notes: A) Ingested at 96kHz/24bit, dropped to 48kHz/24bit for correct pitch. Label reads, No good after a few minutes. This is true. Dropouts, muffled treble, gradually fades as recording progresses. Some bleed through from track 2 and previous taped-over jazz fusion recording. Needs digi restoration. -- B) Ingested backwards at 96kHz/24bit and 3.75 ips from track 2, dropped to 48kHz/24bit (equiv. to 1 7/8 ips). Some quantization noise apparent at 20kHz - not audible. Recording in poor condition - many dropouts, reduced treble and analogue clipping distortion (particularly from mic handling). Levels highly variable - chose to ride gain during ingestion to prevent clipping and/or errors at A/D converter.
