| Description: | The collection of thorns took place in a location called Youngatham in Wolam Nyukyan forest, which is located below the village. This was carried out by Mr. Puhong, who took me to a plot of jungle which also belongs to him, and who collected the thorns while I did the recording. To get the recording, I was accompanied by my brother who also drove us to the jungle and helped by taking background photos while Puhong was cutting the thorns as I did the recording. This thorn 'Nyiplao tao' is used as needles while tattooing. Recorded at Youngatham, a jungle area near Wolam village, Noklak, Nagaland. Original file names: WL24_NyipLaoTao. Language as given: | |
