Description:		Deru Khabisow here talks about the auspicious and inauspicious months. The months June and July are considered to be inauspicious months, and so no important tasks are performed in these months. The auspicious months start from August, and in this month the community members make a fishing trap with bamboo in the river and let the water flow in one direction with the fish. When the fish are collected, they are then distributed throughout the whole village. Once the month of August starts, all the auspicious works are done, such as marriage proposals, preparations for marriages, and the marriages themselves.
