Description:		This recording was made at Thragom with Mrs. Humchung. She is native to Thragom, but her great grandparents have migrated from Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh (India). She informs us that there are two ways to plant millet. The first is to plant before the magpie departs, and the second is to plant when the magnolia flower blossoms. In the latter case, it is not transplanted. In earlier times, when people forgot to plant seedlings with the arrival of the magpie, they would make the sound of the magpie and plant the millet when the magpie leaves the place..
