| Description: | This is a recording of the paddy plantation at Mazhing, Rolam. The recording was made by Tashi Tshewang, working with the Bhutan Oral Literature Project. The participants are farmers from Rolam, Thragom and Rinzentangpang. The paddy plantation was done after a long absence of rain during the peak monsoon season. Water for irrigation is allocated based on a lucky trip. Kids were also brought during the recording as there was no one to look after them at home.. Language as given: | |
