| Description: | There is no record of when the Dukti Pema Choling Lakhang was built. However, people know who renovated it, it was by Tshong Tshongma Lopen. Tshong Tsongma Lopen was an artisan, apart from his spiritual achievements. Tashi states that when the Pema Choling Lakhang construction was planned, there were only 12 households. It took Lopen around three years to complete the construction. The main relics of the Lakkhang are the 16 sets of Buddhist chronicles given to Tshong Tshongma Lopen by the Throngpa community. .
