| This is the second part of U Kun's reading book (the first part can be found in recording crdo-BER_1961_BUR_050_B). Ms Brenda Pe Maung Tin reads the end of the dialogue between Maung Hla and Maung Kha, this last one telling the story of Robinson Crusoe (until 1.36 min.). Lesson 24: she pronounces words in Burmese with the three different tones, then she tells the jataka of the monkey and the crocodile. As the crocodile wants to eat the monkey's heart, the monkey tells him that his heart is in a tree on the other side of the river. The monkey suggests the crocodile to help him cross the river on his back so he could be able to go and get the heart for the crocodile to eat (until 3.15 min.) Lesson 25: she pronounces the word ''kyaing'' (with the three tones in turn), then she reads a dialogue between a child and his mum.
