| Description: | LSE-Sign is a lexical database created as a research tool that contains signs and non-signs. The database was developed by the Basque Center on Cognition, Brain and Language (BCBL) in collaboration with Fundación CNSE (The State Confederation fo Deaf People of Spain). LSE-Signs contains signs from the first standardised Spanish Sign Language dictionary published by the Spanish National Association of Deaf People and non-signs that were generated by altering one of the principal phonological parameters of a real sign. Signs are shown without mouthing or emotional content and coded according to formal and grammatical criteria. Signs and non-signs can be searched by their properties and display the results with an adjustable amount of information. | |
