Description:Keeling catalog note: "Anut is the large ant once used in the Luiseno Ant Ordeal, but since this custom has long been discontinued, the song has become a hunting song. DuBois notes that this ceremony was done in very ancient times and long since discontinued. Songs such as this were later use in the Wukunish Ceremony (DuBois 1908a:118)."
