Description: | Place names study derived from research conducted as part of the Kantishna Oral History project. Based primarily on interviews with Abbie Joseph, a speaker of Minchumina-Bearpaw Upper Koyukon. She also knew Upper Kuskokwim names of some places. Former Kantishna residents living in Fairbanks, Nenana, Tanana, Anchorage, and Minto were also consulted. Comments: Collection also contains much unpublished information relating to the Kantishna Oral History Project. Citation: Anchorage, Alaska: U. S.
